Slippery Silks is the 19th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

Plot[]
Mr. Morgan borrows a valuable antique Chinese cabinet worth $50,000 from a museum, wanting an exact copy of it made, only to have the Stooges, as three bumbling carpenters, destroy it. After the Stooges get away, they find that they have inherited their uncle Pete's dress shop, the "Madame de france". Mrs. Morgan has the new owners put on a show for her friends, whereas Mr. Morgan finally finds the vandals who ruined his cabinet and has his revenge.

- This short was Hilda Title's final appearance with the Stooges. Although, she appeared with them in a film called, Start Cheering (1938) with the Stooges.
