Musty Musketeers is the 154th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

Plot[]
The Stooges wish to marry their sweethearts, but are forbidden by Old King Cole (Vernon Dent) until Princess Alisha (Virginia Hunter) weds Prince Gallant III of Rhododendron "when the flowers bloom in the Spring." Unfortunately, evil magician Murgatroyd (Philip Van Zandt) has his own plans to marry Alisha, and promptly abducts her. The Stooges do their best to foil his plot.
Trivia[]
- Going by production order, it was filmed with new footage on April 27, 1953. This film was Frank Sully's first appearance with the Three Stooges (However his official first debut with the Stooges was Pardon My Backfire).
- The intro music of this film was re-used from Hokus Pokus to He Cooked His Goose (except for The Ghost Talks and Corny Casanovas). It was the last time that this music was used for five years.
